We were asked to assist in the transformation of Greenstone Shopping Centre situated in Edenvale. With Greenstone Shopping Centre’s implementation of “thinking green” in mind, we realised that nature should be a major influence in the design of the different elements needed for this space.
In terms of our design approach, organic surfaces and harmonious form add an element of creativity to the functional furniture.
To this end, we manufactured and installed custom trellis frames and added artificial ivy to add a green touch. We incorporated Rhino wood Cubedec B Planters with a Rhino wood finish, CU-bin AW litter bins with Rhino wood slats and outdoor smoking bins, circular benching with Rhino wood finishing, custom designed gates, decorative steel structures used to secure hanging Rhino wood planters with composite cladding.
Our aim was to provide a space that communicates a joyful appreciation of natural surroundings containing functional furniture pieces that draw attention.
The result looks charming and seems to connect with people in a special way.
